The Festival makes a welcome return to Cork’s Fota House for a second performance by the award-winning Quatuor Ébène and Philippe Cassard. In addition to chamber music masterpieces by Dvorvák and Beethoven, audiences can look forward to a performance of Ravel’s passionate String Quartet, the recording of which recently garnered for Ébenè’s an “Editor’s Choice” in Gramophone Magazine where it was described as having “many breathtaking moments”.
