Moving with ease and enthusiasm from the classical tradition to the musical worlds of jazz, film and pop, the Quatuor Ebène are joined by compatriots Richard Héry and Fabrice Planchat for a performance by L’autre Ebène (the Other Ebène) in Dublin’s Sugar Club. Festival appearances by L’autre Ebène include Heidelberger Frühling and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, as well as concerts in Vienna, Munich and New York’s Poisson Rouge. This highly original and versatile ensemble will release a jazz and world music album entitled “Fiction” later this year, followed by a number of performances in some of the world’s most prestigious classical and jazz venues.
