For its second concert in the 2011 event, the award-winning Pavel Haas Quartet joins forces with cellist-extraordinaire, Danjulo Ishizaka. In addition to Beethoven’s op 59 no 1, the Quartet performs Schubert’s much loved Quintet with this German-Japanese cellist who lists such distinguished musicians as Gidon Kremer, Julia Fischer, Lisa Batiashvili, Lars Vogt and Tabea Zimmermann amongst his chamber music partners. A chance for Irish audiences to hear these extraordinary musicians ahead of their appearance at the prestigious Schubertiade, Schwarzenberg on June 19th!
