Music in Great Irish Houses has been doing just that since it was founded 38 years ago.
Each year the announcement of the festival immediately evokes images of summer music in splendid surroundings. It is the only touring festival in the country, travelling this year to Cork, Clare, Drogheda, Dublin, Kildare and north of the border to Belfast. In addition to magnificent concerts in the core programme the festival, in recent years has added a new dimension to its activities by involving younger audiences in an interactive way and by providing masterclasses for emerging Irish musicians with some of the finest performers in their fields.

Music in Great Irish Houses continues to provide an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the chamber music of the masters in the intimate settings and ambience for which that music was originally written.
